As the President of the Orange County Fire Chiefs Association, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website and to thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

It is a privilege to represent a fire service organization comprised of 11 fire agencies. These agencies have over 2,000 fire and paramedic personnel, staffing 138 fire stations throughout the county, serving a population of over 3 million people. The men and women of Orange County Fire service are unwavering in their commitment to protect the lives and properties of their citizens and communities whether preventing or minimizing the effects of emergency incidents.

Collectively, the Fire Chiefs of Orange County have determined the following goals for 2015:

  • Collectively and collaboratively facilitate the provision of a more effective and efficient emergent and non-emergent services throughout the Operational Area/Region in an effort to improve service to our communities and constituents 
  • Review impacts of external factors on our local EMS delivery system, including the Affordable Care Act, private paramedic providers, and community paramedicine to ensure that the Orange County Fire Service is proactive in our approach to service delivery.
  • Work to enhance communications with internal and external partners of the OCFCA. This includes communications with groups including our constituents, governmental agencies, labor representatives, and other various stakeholder groups.
